Privacy Policy

Collect Little. Keep Less.

Focused Hunts publishes open-source threat intelligence and asks nothing of its readers in return: no account, no sign-up and no payment. This policy explains the small amount of data the site and its tools handle, and why.

Effective date: October 20, 2026

This Website

Analytics, only with consent. When a visitor clicks Accept on the cookie banner, the site loads Google Analytics with IP anonymization to count page views and understand which content is useful. Clicking Reject, or ignoring the banner, loads no analytics at all. The choice is stored in the browser and can be reset by clearing site data.

Server logs. The technology providing these services records standard request logs to keep the site working and to understand demand for content. We do not sell, advertise, share, or contact any visitors. The data collected from logged events is for internal usage only.

No advertising and no data sales. The site runs no ads, no advertising trackers and no lead-generation tools, and Focused Hunts never sells or rents visitor data.

Feedback Email

Messages sent to the feedback address are used only to read and respond to the feedback. They are not added to a mailing list or shared, and they are deleted when no longer needed.

The Vault

The Vault password manager collects no analytics and has no Focused Hunts servers or accounts. Vault data is encrypted on the device and stored only in the cloud storage the user chooses (such as Google Drive or OneDrive), under that provider's own privacy terms. Focused Hunts cannot see or recover vault contents.

Third-Party Links and Changes

Guides and recaps link to outside research, threat feeds and vendor documentation. Those sites have their own privacy practices.

Focused Hunts updates this policy when its practices change and revises the effective date above. Questions about privacy can go to the feedback page.
